Type's of Membership
Certified membership In the NPA is open to individuals who are in possession of a valid and current certification, specifically related to the computer networking industry, where the certification requires one or more exams. Two years of specific network industry experience will be accepted as a substitution. As a member you agree to substantially participate in organizing two NPA events.
Non-Certified membership In the NPA is open to individuals who are in process of obtaining a valid certification, specifically related to the computer networking industry, where the certification requires one or more exams. Current employment in the network industry will be accepted as a substitution. As a member you agree to substantially participate in organizing two NPA events.
Student membership Is available to students who will not hold a network computer industry certification. Membership is limited to two years. Student ID information and school endorsement are required. Student membership is only available to individuals who do not qualify for Certified or Non-Certified membership. Membership requires participation in executing two NPA events.
Corporate membership Is an efficient way for Companies to purchase NPA membership for their employees. Membership is assigned to the company not to the individual. Only permanent professional staff are eligible. As part of Corporate membership the Company agrees to provide: Tier 1 - 1 technical facility tour, two hour presentation or workshop. Tier 2 - 1 technical facility tour w/ two hour presentation or workshop, or 1 four hour workshop. Tier 3 - 1 technical facility tour w/ two hour presentation and four hour workshop, or 1 all day workshop.
